The aspect ratio adjustment feature automatically senses the input single and will not stretch a 4:3 signal but instead will position the image in the middle of the screen with side bars. The larger 22” VA2248m-LED builds from the smaller 19” VA1948m-LED by upgrading from a less optimal 1440x900 resolution up to a full 1080p high-definition resolution. Like its peers, it offers integrated LED backlighting, which is why it’s capable of a high 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Plus the backlighting goes along with its Energy Star standards, in that it’s responsible for a 50% energy savings. In addition, the display offers both VGA and DVI connectivity options. The display is also wall mountable via VESA standards.
