As an upgrade from the VA2248m-LED, the ViewSonic VX2253mh-LED offers a slimmer bezel with LED backlighting, an improved 30,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a faster 2ms response time, SRS Premium Sound stereo speakers, and two HDMI inputs. Unfortunately it slightly downgrades, in that its energy reduction goes from 50% to just 40%. It is nevertheless still Energy Star 5.0 certified. Like its peer, the display offers a full 1080p high-definition resolution in addition to LED backlighting technology and VESA mounting compatibility. Plus there’s a VGA port.
